I've been online since 7:00 this morning, to make changes to two flights (STN to Palma) I managed to make the changes to the flights, but the website was slow but I just cant make a payment. I've tried different cards and browsers all getting stuck at the same point.

Reclaiming Easyjet APD - Government tax back - MoneySavingExpert Forum
So! I didn't show up, didn't check in. I called easyJet customer services, requested refund on government tax for flights I didn't take, gave them my booking reference & passenger name and they obliged. I think I'm getting £3 back ha, better than paying out £30+ in cancellation though? EDIT: Got £13 back for the government fees!

Easyjet regularly have sales, and in my experience with them, unless you are flying with them in peak times, it can be worth waiting for a sale. If you're flying at peak holiday times, its best to book the flights as soon as you can once they are released.

Hi, just a heads up, from paying the website price to move a flight, easyJet now charge a premium. We are looking to change our easyJet flights from December to March (in the hope that the quarantine controls may be lifted by then). We paid £300 for our December flights. If we were booking NEW flights for March the cost is £380.

Since Covid the general pattern that easyJet followed of dates to release flights seems to have stopped. I'm signed up to the newsletter but don't receive that till hours after flights are released and a DM on Twitter and they tell me they don't publish the dates flights are due to be released in advance on their website?

Hi We have booked EasyJet flights for a trip to Sharm, and I mistakenly booked the flights in my married name although my passport is still in my maiden name - checking on the EasyJet website, I will be charged £170 for this to be amended!!
